Ammonium Nitrate
Ammonium nitrate, (NH4NO3), a salt of ammonia and nitric acid, used widely in fertilizers. The commercial grade contains about 33.5 percent nitrogen, all of which is in forms utilizable by plants; it is the most common nitrogenous component of artificial fertilizers. Ammonium nitrate is a colourless crystalline substance (melting point 169.6 °C [337.3 °F]). It is highly soluble in water; heating of the water solution decomposes the salt to nitrous oxide (laughing gas). As solid ammonium nitrate can undergo explosive decomposition when heated in a confined space, government regulations have been imposed on its shipment and storage.
Urea
Urea, also known as carbamide, is an organic compound with chemical formula CO(NH2)2. It is a colorless, odorless solid, highly soluble in water, and practically non-toxic. Dissolved in water, it is neither acidic nor alkaline. introduction and scientific invention of Urea is identified as a life changing event in the history of agriculture. Urea N46% is the world’s most common nitrogen fertilizer and has been used uniformly in all the agricultural lands of the world. Never before this, agriculture had seen such booming heights in production as well as prosperity. Urea is neutral in pH and can adapt to almost all kinds of soils. It is a waste product formed naturally by metabolizing protein in humans as well as other mammals, amphibians and some fish. Urea is widely used in the agricultural sector both as a fertilizer and animal feed additive.
Urea can prilled or granular. Prilled urea and granular urea are two types of urea. The key difference between prilled and granular urea is that prilled urea takes a little time to dissolve in water, whereas granular urea takes a lot of time to dissolve.
Potash
Potassium is a natural fertilizer that plays an important role in the plants life along with nitrogen and phosphorous. It is quite widespread in nature. It is found only in the form of compounds. The product an active substance in the raw potassium salts and in the concentrated potash fertilizers used as a soil fertilizer and as a plant nutrient.
UAN
Liquid fertilizer solutions and fluid fertilizers are popular in many areas because they are safe to handle, convenient to mix with other nutrients and chemicals, and are easily applied. A solution of urea [CO(NH₂)₂] and ammonium nitrate [NH₄NO₃] containing between 28 and 32 percent nitrogen (N) is the most popular fluid N fertilizer.
Solutions of UAN are extremely versatile as a source of plant nutrition. Its chemical properties, make UAN compatible with many other nutrients and agricultural chemicals, so it is frequently mixed with solutions containing phosphorus, potassium and other essential plant nutrients. Fluid fertilizers can be blended to precisely meet the specific needs of a soil or crop.

Our teams of professional chartering brokers with extensive net-work and experience fix vessels from DWT 1500 / 65000 DWT.
They charter all the vessels Chardell International JSC need for its trading activity and serving external and partners’ cargo/vessels as well.
A voyage charter is the hiring of a vessel and crew for a voyage between a load port and a discharge port. The charterer pays the vessel owner on a per-ton or lump-sum basis. The owner pays the port costs (excluding stevedoring), fuel costs and crew costs. The payment for the use of the vessel is known as freight. A voyage charter specifies a period, known as laytime, for loading and unloading the cargo. If laytime is exceeded, the charterer must pay demurrage. If laytime is saved, the charter party may require the shipowner to pay despatch to the charterer.
A time charter is the hiring of a vessel for a specific period of time; the owner still manages the vessel but the charterer selects the ports and directs the vessel where to go. The charterer pays for all fuel the vessel consumes, port charges, commissions, and a daily hire to the owner of the vessel.
Handymax, Supramax, Ultramax, Panamax
Handymax and Supramax are naval architecture terms for the larger bulk carriers in the Handysize class. Handysize class consists of Supramax (50,000 to 60,000 DWT), Handymax (40,000 to 50,000 DWT), and Handy (<40,000 DWT). The ships are used for less voluminous cargos, even allowing for combining different cargos in different holds.
A Handymax ship is typically 150–200 m (492–656 ft) in length, though certain bulk terminal restrictions, such as those in Japan, mean that many Handymax ships are just under 190 meters (623 ft) in overall length. Modern Handymax and Supramax designs are typically 52,000-58,000 t DWT in size, have five cargo holds, and four cranes of 30 tones (33.1 short tons; 29.5 long tons) lifting capacity.[2] The average speed of a vessel varies depends on size and age of vessel.
The cost of building a Handymax is driven by the laws of supply and demand. In early 2007 the cost building a Handymax was around $20,000,000. As the global economy boomed the cost doubled to over $40,000,000, as demand for vessels of all sizes exceeded available yard capacity
